What is Literacy Collaborative (L.C.)?
"Lesley University Literacy Collaborative is a comprehensive school-wide model for school reform provided as a colloboration between Lesley University, The Ohio State University, elementary and middle schools. It includes a long-term professional development program designed to improve the literacy instruction of students in kindergarten through grade eight. The goal of the program is to assure successful literacy instruction and achievement for every student. The Literacy Collaborative is developed into three workshops: Reading Workshop, Writing Workshop, and Word Study.
